Joshua competed at our 2017 College-Prep Showcase in both the field goal and kickoff charting events. He hits good balls at times, but some minor adjustment in his kicking mechanics is needed to improve his skills. Currently, he hits the ball utilizing his groin and hip muscles. He will be better off engaging his quad muscles during the kick swing. To do this, he needs to turn his knee towards the target as his foot is making contact with the ball. This will help him drive his leg higher in his follow-thru and gain greater range on his kicks. With some adjustment to his mechanics, Joshua will jump in the rankings!
