Joseph is confident in his kicking abilities. He is the first kicker we've seen in awhile who choses to kick without a kicking shoe. This is effective for him. He gets excellent ball flight and ball rotation on each of his field goal hits. To improve his range, he'll need to drive the ball more and create more compression on the ball at impact. He can do this by getting more of his foot on the ball (hit higher on his foot closer to his ankle). Increasing his tempo to the ball will help as well. Like most kickers his age, he needs to keep working on his kickoff routine to increase distance and height to his kicks.
