Jesus has a strong build and demonstrated a strong leg at the 2017 CPS. He currently hits from a two inch block. To make the transition to a one inch or to the ground, he will need to increase his lean off at ball strike and open up his foot into more of a club position. To help achieve this, he can start by increasing the width in his approach to the ball. On his kickoffs, his approach is too narrow and his mechanics make it difficult for him to achieve good hang-times. Again, widening his approach as well as increasing his lean-off will help him open his foot to strike the ball in a manner that will get the ball in the air better.
